Reflexology at Whole Body Health
Experience whole-body healing
through reflexology
Reflexology is a powerful therapeutic practice that channels the body’s natural healing responses by applying precise pressure to targeted areas of the feet. Each area of the foot corresponds to a different part of the body, from muscles and organs to various physical systems.
What to Expect
A typical reflexology session lasts about 45 minutes and follows a pre-set sequence. During the session, RMT Evana MacQueen will apply targeted pressure to specific areas of your feet, addressing various parts of your body. If a particular area feels tender, extra attention may be given to help release tension and restore balance.
Unlike some other therapies, reflexology typically doesn’t involve lotion or oils during the main treatment to allow for deeper, more precise pressure. However, at the end of the session, Evana may use a small amount of oil to encourage drainage toward the lymphatic system, supporting detoxification.
Who Can Benefit?
One of the many benefits of reflexology is that it’s a gentle treatment suitable for many people, even those who may have trouble with traditional bodywork methods, such as lying face-down on a massage table. This type of massage is especially helpful for those seeking a low-impact, full-body therapy without discomfort. Here are some common benefits patients may experience: enhanced relaxation, reduced tension, and improved circulation.
How Often Should You
Schedule Sessions?
The frequency of reflexology treatments varies depending on your goals. If you’re seeking general wellness and maintenance, booking a session every month or two is typical.
However, if you’re looking for relief from specific issues, Evana may suggest a more personalized schedule.
